King Mahendra’s Visit to United States During 1967.

 

Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India visited Nepal recently. Narendra Modi got a huge welcome by Nepal government. This must be one of the biggest welcome done by Nepal government to any foreign high level guests. Security has been so tight that no one could enter the road during his travel. Kathmandu was even given holiday for two days during his stay inorder to maintain security. Honorable prime minister Sushil Koirala along with other high level ministers were present to welcome him in airport. Whole Nepal was busy honoring him for two days.

Like wise there used to be a huge craze of Nepali kings worldwide. King Mahendra, Birendra were one of the respected personalities of their time. King Mahendra of Nepal visited United States of America in October 30 for 4 days tour on 1967. The welcome done by US was amazing at that time. He was welcomed by Lyndon B. Johnson who was the president of US that time. He got high level welcome by US government. The welcome of Modi in Nepal and welcome of King Mahendra in US were similar.
They visited various cities like Williamsburg, Cape Kennedy, and New York City.

They also were visited by famous personalities of US. Elvis Praisley, known as the king of Rock and Roll visited them.

King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev was king of Nepal from 1955 to 1972. He ruled Nepal for 17 years.  He made numerous respected visit to foreign countries like Great Britian and other European countries.

SLC Result 2070/2071, 2014, With Marksheet

SLC, the School Leaving  Certificate is the final examination of the secondary school education system of Nepal.  It is the completion of the 10^th Grade and after that students are likely to join higher secondary or intermediate level.  The exam is held in the end of Nepali calendar  normally. It comes under April to June of English calendar every year.

SLC (School Leaving Certificate) is commonly taken as the iron gate in Nepal so that everyone takes the exam seriously. Being the most important exam in the student life before joining intermediate or higher secondary, SLC has a great role in building an academic career of students.

The exams are held in the five development regions in which seventy five districts take part. The examination is held in the same time , same day in all over the districts and in every centers. The questions differ from region to region. This is due to the security reason, if the exam of one center or region is cancelled then the particular region only will be affected.

Results:

Results of the SLC comes after two and half months after the examination.  The results are published by the Examination Control Board Kathmandu.SLC Result 2070/71

The Examination Control Board has divided the results in five categories.

If a student scores above 80% then it’s called Distinction

If a student scores above 60% then it’s called First Division

If a student scores above 45% then it’s called Second Division

If a student scores above 32% then it’s called Third Division

If a student scores below 32% then it’s called Fail

The students who fails will have to give compart chance examination (it’s like back examination) in the date announced by Esamination Control Board.

New Load Sheding Schedule Nepal. (Effective from 4th June - 21 Jestha)

Nepal Electricity Authority

has decreased the duration of load shedding to 8 hours a day. Currently there is 10 hours of
loadshedding going on. 
NEA has made total two hours cutoff in the current duration. The new load shedding schedule will be effective from Wednesday 4^th Jun (21 Jestha).

Due to rainfall and the snow melting the volume of water has increased in the rivers followed by reservoirs. The hydropower production has increased comprehensively these days due to water level.

NEA has cleared that there is still 500 MW of electricity less that the average demand.

Ramesh Kharel Speech.

Ramesh Kharel
is only police office who is loved by all Nepali people due to his loyelness and support to people. Ramesh Khares is known as the most dangerous SSP who is against crime and dons. Now he has been in some controversies within the police department. He has been removed from the chief SSP of Kathmandu and called in headquarter. 

Some days ago in a public program SSP Kharel gave a controversial speech about the behavior DIGs who goes to minister with the suitecase of money to make their permotions. Ramesh Kharel said that some of the police officers are trying to bribe ministers and high level politicians for the promotion in the upper post.

After the controversial statement by Ramesh Kharel, police department Nepal had made a group of investigation comitte, which finally made a decision that Ramesh Kharel should leave post of chief of Kathmandu. Before coming Kathmandu Ramesh Kharel was in Pokhara. He is known as the police officer who openly fights against the corruption.
Ramesh Kharel had said , “Some DIGs are frequenting the houses of government ministers with briefcases full of money.”

Canada's Federal budget 2014 against public servants’ to save billions.

The yearly budget of Canada has been announced on Tuesday. The Tuedsay's budget has hampered the public servents' profit. Finance Minister Jim Flaherty announced the budget for 2014. He has made his budget with the plans to save atleast $.7.4 billion in six years . For this amount of profits, Canada will now reduce the benefits and services that the public servents were getting. The Conservations are more concenterated to sick leave benefits and salary that public servents are using . It is estimated that the sick leave and salary costs will save $1.4 billion. Similarly, the retired public servents will also have to suffer now. The retired public servents will now have to pay double premiums for their Health Care Plans. This movement will save $1.5 billion more in the year 2014-2015 and the saving will be increased to $7.4 billions by the year 2018-2019. The next decision is that government will give top priority for jobs to veterans who are released on medical leave. This means the current bureaucrats will suffer and 1000 veterans who get released from the miliatary every year have top priority fo jobs in public service. The plan to give priority for the veterans is to overcome the sick leave outcomes. Various Unions have signed a 'solidarity' to refuse the announcement about the sick leave but they are being weakened by new legislation which is providing strength to the government. Tony Clement said,"They are sending the message to the unions that this is going to happen whether they agree or not". Tony Clement said that government isnt going back even unions organise strike .

Comedy Nights With Kapil

Comedy Nights with Kapil is a comedy show which is based on a dailylife a simple poor family.  The show explores the story of every simple family, a life of a ordinary man.The show mainly explores the everyday activities of family man and how man is affected by his family. The show presents the issues in very funny way with humorous punches. Kapil Sharma is one of the most talented comedians in India. Kapil is the main character of the show. Tito Satye

Tito Satye is a famous television show in Nepal . It is a comedy serial, which includes the political and social facts in comedy way. Tito Satye is onaired from Nepal Television every Thursday 9 pm. It is getting popularity among Nepali viewrs and is a completely family show. TIto Satye was premired in 2003 and since then the show is continuously entertaining the viewrs. Tito Satye is produced by Deepak Raj Giri and Dipa Shree Niraula, who are also the main characters of the serial. Deepak Raj Giri is not only producer of the show, but he plays his role as script writer and director. Nirmal Sharma, Raaj Acharya are other important characters of the serial. Deepak Raj Giri and Deepa Shree Niraula play the role of husband and wife in the serial. Young talented actor Raaj Acharya plays a role of son of Deepa and Deepak. Tito Satya is also one of the most viewed programs in Nepali Television. Youths Being Religious.

It is not wise to say  that the recent youths are not religious and dont care about our own religion.  Every youth is seen busy doing Rough and Tough fashion but it dont mean that they dont care about religion and culture. They do care about our culture. Thats why many youths are seen bathing in Sali river in this cold season in Magh and some are seen in que to worship in Dakshinkali temple. Many youths who are seen in Rock concerts are seen enjoying in Bhajans and traditional songs aswell. But there is a generation of youths who prefer to go to temples as a dating spot.
A youth having eye ring, black jeans, black jacket, hanging chain ring in the side of jeans. He was wearing converse shoes, lastly he was almost looking like a rock star. He said, he always goes to Purple Haze Rock Bar or Attic Bar in the evinings. But today in this morning I am here to take some blessings God. A +2 student of Brillient College, Sanjay Bhatterai said. Sanjay was seen in Shali river last saturday to worship Swasthani. Due to long que of females he hesitated to do direct worship to the temple. He was there with his sister for visiting temple. He also said he has many times read the "Swasthani Book" in home.
Many youths are seen to have faith in God. But they donot fully believe in God. Some say we believe in God but we donot fully depend on him. Not only to worship but temples now have been a major places as a recreational spots. Some youths move there just to do time pass and enjoy the peaceful environment and some youths go there as a dating spot.  But the way we feel and predict about the recent youths of Nepal about theri  religious attitude is wrong. It clears that they are still religious and love culture from inside.

Father Went To Court In Bihar Due To Son's Marriage.

A father in Bihar, India has complained his son in court in with the issue of his son's marriage. Father is angry with his son due to son's intercast marriage. His son just married a girl of the lower cast.  The issue father has complained is demoralization. Shiddanath Sharma is himself a lawer by profession. Shiddhanath has also claimed that his son Sushant should pay 1 crorer IC due to his fault. He also has restricted his son not use his surname from now. Sushant is a banker and works in Bank, he has recently married a girl of lower cast who also works in bank. Shiddanath has clamied that his son has done injustic by marrying that girl. He said that his pride in the society will now go down due to son's intercast marriage. He said that his son has broken family rule which started from 400 years. . 

Whereas wife of Shiddanath, his three sisters and other family members were involved in the marriage ceremony of Sushant.  Other family members are in favour of Sushant but Siddhanath is also angry with other family members. Another intresting fact is that Bihar state has a provision of providing 50 thousand prize for the couple who does intercast marriage.

Jire Khursani : Full Episode, 20th Jan, 2014

Jire Khursani is a popular Nepali comedy tv serial which is aired in Nepal Telivision every Monday 9pm. Jire Khursani is continuously being onaired since 2003 and entertaining viewrs. It is produced and directed jointly by Jitu Nepal and Shiva Hari Paudel. They are also famous characters of the show. Jire Khursani is basically based on the social and political problems that people have to suffer in daily life in Nepali society. It presents the social and political facts in a funny and humorous way with comic punches. Mundre( Jitu Nepal) is a only one who have passed SLC from his family. Asina Prashad ( Shiva Hari Paudel) is a part time politiciam. Famous comedian Rajaram Paudel and Kiran KC are also part of the serial. They all live under the same roof.  The TV serial is famous for words saying habit of the Characters, Asina Prashad is famous for saying "Pwakka Mukha Ma Hanu Jasto"(like i'll punch in the face), "Eh Raataa Makai"(oh red corn)  is used by Kiran KC, "Pareko Ma Behorula"(in case, i'll handle everything)  is used by Raja Ram Poudel.
