Nepal Electricity Authority
has decreased the duration of load shedding to 8 hours a day. Currently there is 10 hours ofloadshedding going on.
NEA has made total two hours cutoff in the current duration. The new load shedding schedule will be effective from Wednesday 4th Jun (21 Jestha).
Due to rainfall
and the snow melting the volume of water has increased in the rivers followed
by reservoirs. The hydropower production has increased comprehensively these
days due to water level.
NEA has cleared
that there is still 500 MW of electricity less that the average demand.
The new loadshedding
