Nepal Airlines Corporation finally signed for two aircrafts


Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has finally signed a deal with aircraft company Airbus for the purchase of Airbus. The cost of the aircrafts will be $75 milllion each. NAC will be paying the catalague amount of 8% with in 5 working days. The delivery of the Airbuses will be in February and April of 2015. NAC Ganesh Bahadur Chand and sales director of Airbus Sheel Skla and sales contacts director Rob Gardon has signed the purchase aggrement .
NAC earlier purchased two Boing aircraft in 1987 and 1988, respectively. The national flag carrier currently has two Boing 747 those are in operation now to Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Doha, Quatar, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Delhi. The conditon of both the Boeings are in detorating condition and one of them in is maintainance in Singapore.
Employment Provident Fund has decided to give loan of Rs 10 billion to NAC for the purchas of new aircrafts. The aircrafts are narrow-body aircraft. NAC will be paying 12% intrest to EPF. And the aggrement between NAC and EPF is of 15 years.
