US Drug policy not working at all.

The drug policies taken by U.S has not working as expected at all . The drug crimes are in the same rate it used to be when drugs were illegel. The organised crimes has not stopped. This was due to the Latin American countries who has legalised the relaxing narcitics drugs.
The policy was made in order to stop the organised durg crimes. Since arresting the users and building prison to put them was not the wise solution to stop the cirmes. Recently Drug problems are increasing rapidly in the youths. The US national drug control strategy has made a new strategy that the drug addiction is a disease and it can be prevented by treating and from which many peoples have recovered as well. US has recently stopped the phrase "war on drugs"  recently. The phrase was in use four years ago. The US government is spending more money in drug prevention and treatment than the domestic law enforcement.
 "The end of the 'war on drugs' does not mean we are giving up on our efforts or making dangerous, addictive drugs more easily available for abuse,"  US national drug control's leader Kerlikowske said. .
